Warner Robins, GA Day 2

Warner Robins, GA

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!!

We didn't have any special plans but did take a drive around the base to familiarize ourselves with the layout.  We were surprised that the PX and Commissary were both open.  We went in the PX.  I was looking for a baby bottle brush to use to clean my Teavana cup.  I did find that if you fill the cup with water and baking soda and let it soak for awhile it is easier to get the tea stains off the stainless steel.  The brush just lets you get further down inside the cup.

I made a really good dinner for tonight.  We had broiled steak, corn on the cob, fresh tomatoes, and homemade potato salad.  Yummy.  For dessert we had fresh Georgia peaches.

It did start raining really hard when we left the PX, where Bill also got a haircut.  It wasn't raining as hard at the RV as it was at the PX but it did rain off and on the rest of the day.  Bummer.

We did hear fireworks going off during the evening but didn't go out to see them.

So that was our quiet day.  Hope you had a good one.
