Warner Robins, GA. Day 7

Thursday, 7/09/2915
Warner Robins, GA

Not much going on today, just prepping to leave tomorrow. I did call and make reservations at the next two campgrounds. We picked up a couple of things at the Commissary, mostly fresh stuff.  We found a place to drop off our recyclables.

The car seems to be doing just fine.

The laundry here is free but there is only one washer and one dryer. They were in use when we first went there but I eventually got the one load done that I needed the bigger washer for.

I got a phone call from a friend, Gary, offering us his tickets to see Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle on Labor Day weekend. We accepted them and then started making our plans for our return trip. We will probably not go to Dallas and the Bush library this trip. The Clinton library in Little Rock is still a possibility. We will see. The concert is going to be at her campground in Hurricane Mills, TN. We will transfer his reservations there to us. It should be fun.

For dinner we decided to go to the chow hall. On Thursdays they allow retirees to eat there. We both had a chicken breast with a bourbon bbq sauce, carrots, mashed potatoes and gravy. Bill had a bowl of clam chowder and I had a small salad. All of that and two drinks cost $6.80 cents. At those prices we could afford to eat out every night!

That was pretty much our day. Hope you had a good one.
