Texas T Campground
Cornersville, TN
Since we are still wandering around Tennessee waiting for the time for us to go to Loretta Lynn's place we only had a drive of 135 miles today. We are stopped for the next 4 nights at the Texas T Campground in Cornersville, TN. This is a Good Sam park. It doesn't have a pool or anything fancy but it is fine for what we want it for. We plan on visiting the Jack Daniels distillery while here.
We did a couple of loads of laundry at the laundry room in the evening. While sitting on the porch waiting for the laundry we met and talked to a guy who is staying here. He and his wife are fulltimers too and are looking to buy property in the area and settle down. It was an interesting conversation.
I fixed a nice dinner of steak, roasted potatoes, carrots, and tomatoes. I need to go to the grocery store as I am now out of meat. I haven't been doing a lot of shopping, just buying what I needed for the next few days. Time to stock up the freezer.
