Hurricane Mills. TN Day 5

Happy Labor Day!  I was surprised to see many of the rigs leave yesterday.  Probably a fourth of the rigs here left.  The trail rides are going on so there are more horses out and about.

Bill and I decided to go out to dinner.  We drove the 7 miles back to I-40 and stopped at the Log Cabin.  The food was pretty good and they gave you a lot of it.  Bill had liver and onions, something he hasn't had in awhile.  I had a fried chicken breast.

There is also a BBQ restaurant here but it appears to have closed recently.  There were reviews for it online from August.  There is also Loretta Lynn's restaurant.  It is a buffet.  It doesn't get good reviews so we didn't go there.

By noon today almost everyone else had left.  There were less than a dozen of us left in the campground.  Guess we were all the retired people.

We did a couple of loads of laundry today to stay caught up.  We have decided that this isn't a campground we will be returning to unless we are going to a concert.  And then we will stay as short a time as possible.

The good sites for satellite are 9 (our site), 10 and 12.  Most of the others have trees in the way.

So that is all for now.  Tomorrow we are back on the road and headed home.
