Tom Sawyer's RV Park
West Memphis, AR
We had a drive of about 160 miles today. Almost all of it was on I-40. We left around 10:00 and the drive was very nice. We are stopped for the night at Tom Sawyer's RV Park in West Memphis, AR. This park is right along the Mississippi River. You can sit out and watch barges go up and down the river. Of course when I wanted to take a picture of one, nothing came by.
There are a bunch of Beaver brand rigs here. Looks like they had a rally as there are rigs from many different states.
We have stayed at this campground before and always use it in this area if we are only over-nighting. If we plan on staying longer than that we usually use the Navy base in Millington, TN. It is just across the river.
We really didn't do much here so I will sign off now. Tomorrow we head to Little Rock, AR
