Home Sweet Home RV
Texarkana, TX

We weren't in a big hurry this morning as the drive was 160 miles.  It was all on I-30, heading southwest.  The road was really, really rough as we drove through Arkansas.  We had a couple of choices for campgrounds but decided that the Home Sweet Home RV Park would work best.  It is only a mile or so off the highway and it is a PA park so it was only $15 for the night with full hookups.  Since the next park we are going to after this doesn't have sewers, we need to make sure the tanks are completely empty.  We didn't unhook the car so we just kinda hung around the rig.  It was hot so I had the awnings out.  It was schedule to rain in the evening so I brought them in before dinner and also took the windshield cover off the car.

Here are a couple of pictures of the place.

You check into park next door at the tire store.  Hey, it worked for the night.  I would stop again for an overnight.

We did call Terry to sing Happy Birthday to him.  I am sure he appreciated it.  Ha Ha!

That was it for the day.  We are working our way back to Calif.
