I am so tired of living in a construction zone. The floors were suppose to go in yesterday and today but the supplier messed up and the wood isn't here yet. So that is being put off until the 28th and 29th. In the mean time, I arranged to have a painter come in on the 25th and 26th to paint the family room/kitchen area, the downstairs bath, and the master bedroom. After I did that the cabinet people called and said the counter tops will be ready to install on the 26th and 28th. Well, the painters and counter people will just have to work around each other. That also means almost 2 more weeks before I have sinks! Hopefully, by the time we get back from camping at the beginning of the month everything will be done.
I am trying to pick rugs for the family room and living room. I didn't realize they were so expensive. I am looking at a 4X6 or 5X7 rug.
At least I have this place to blow off a little steam!

I found nice area rugs at Home depot and during a sale! Try looking at what they have and also maybe check Lowe's.
Colors I would recommend looking at are:
Behr: Dove, Shiny Luster, Urban Mist, Silver Shadow, Swiss Cream, Lilac Mist, Sail Cloth and Sea Ice
Brightens rooms and goes with anything.
