We stayed home on Tuesday and Wednesday doing important things like grocery shopping and cleaning. We did drive over to an RV place in town to get a new strap for the window awning that broke. When we were in Branson the wind blew a lot and the strap rubbed on the hook. It is also as old as the coach so I guess it was time for it to break. It is made out of material so it is expected to break sooner or later. They had the replacement and we got it installed.
Rory gave Lola a Frisbee to play with so we have been taking her out in the evenings when it cools off to run in the field around here and chase it, She really loves it so she says thank you to Rory.
While we were over in that area I took a picture of Bass Lake. You cannot swim in it but you can fish.
On Thursday we took Aimee and Rory to the Aquarium in Newport, KY. It is just over the bridge from Cincinnati. We stopped for lunch before we went in and ate at a place called Tom & Chee. They serve all sorts of grilled cheese sandwiches and soup, mostly tomato soup. I thought it was good. I had purchased tickets online so that we didn't have to stand in line but walked right in. Rory had a good time looking at all the fish and touching what he could.
It was a fun day and Rory wore himself out. He fell asleep in the car on the drive home. The aquarium was only about 35 miles from the house so he got a short nap.
Friday we stayed home and didn't do much. We will see the kids on Saturday and Sunday.
