Beaver Dam, AZ

Beaver Dam, AZ

We decided to go have breakfast before leaving the campground today.  We went to a place called Timberline that was across the freeway.  The food was good.  We stayed and talked for about an hour.  Since we only had 146 miles to go today we didn't need to take off early.  The drive was a good one.
We arrived at Beaver Dam, AZ a little after noon.  We are now on the same time as Calif.  Arizona is in Mountain Time but they do not observe Daylight Savings Time so they are at the same time as Calif during this time of the year.  It is a bit hot here.  Our thermometer said it was over 100 degrees.  That means Lola doesn't get long walks until the sun goes down.  She doesn't like that but the heat isn't good for her.

I fixed meatloaf for dinner tonight.  It was good.  We had the leftover potato salad with it.  A nice light meal in the heat.

We took a drive into Mesquite, NV to check out gas stations.  We found one that looks great for getting fuel.  We will stop there tomorrow morning.

We are stopped at Chief Sleep Easy RV park in Beaver Dam, AZ.  It is 8 miles from Mesquite.  We got a nice long spot for tonight.

Our next stop is in Barstow, CA then into Hemet.
