Nashville, TN
Seven Points COE campground
We slept in this morning since we didn't have any plans until our lunch cruise. It was nice not to have to hurry to do anything.
Around 10:30 we took off to get to the boat. We already had our tickets so we didn't have to get into that line. We don't like to get our pictures taken so we didn't do that either. We sat down and waited for boarding. The weather was nice so it was comfortable. They had a guy who sang for a bit before we boarded. As soon as we got on board the waitress came and told us we could get in line at the buffet for lunch. The food was pretty good. You had a choice of green salad, cole slaw, steamed carrots, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, BBQ pulled pork, chicken fried chicken, gravy and a roll. There was a blueberry pound cake for dessert. Yummy.
After the boat left the dock and most people had eaten, they started the show. It was called a Taste of Tennessee. There was a band and 4 singers. They were all pretty good. We enjoyed their performance. There were two girls and 2 guys singing.
After the show we went up on the deck to relax and view the river as we cruised. The turnaround point was downtown and the stadium where the Tennessee Titans play.
Once back at the dock we got off the boat and drove over to Camping World to pick up a couple of things, Then we went back to the campground. Oh, I took pictures of the site and the view of the lake from our site.
So that is all for tonight. I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes whether by phone, text, email, Facebook or Instant Messenger.
Have a good night.
