Nashville, TN
Seven Points COE Park
It was raining when we woke up this morning but luckily it stopped by the time we were ready to unhook. Bill had to dump the tanks as the park we are going to does not have sewer hookups. We will be there two nights. We have stayed at Seven Points COE park many times before. We have our favorite sites where we can get satellite reception. When I looked online there were only 4 sites left and one of them was one of our favorites. We are also right across from the boat launch and have a good view of the lake. I take pictures tomorrow as the sun is going down now. There are a lot of trees in the park so satellite can be difficult to park in.
We didn't run into much traffic around the city, just about 1/2 a mile. The road was a bit rough though. Just a warning if you take I440 around Nashville. Even though we came through at 1:30 PM there was a lot of traffic.
We got checked into the park and setup on our site. Some of the turns here can be a bit tight but our site is centrally located. Then we rested for a bit. I decided I didn't want to cook so we went out to dinner. We went to a local place called Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint. It is one of those places you go to the counter and order, then they bring you your food. The sauce had a bit of bite to it but I enjoyed my ribs and brisket. Bill didn't like his beans, he likes them a bit sweeter than these were but his hush puppies were good. On the way to dinner we passed some really nice houses in the area. I have a feeling they are pretty expensive though. We will have to check some out.
Tomorrow we have tickets for the General Jackson lunch cruise and show. I hope it is good.
Hope everyone has a good night.
