Mon-Wed

Monday-Wednesday, 8/7-8/9/2017
Dayton, OH
Wright-Patterson AFB

Monday was a day to rest and relax.  We stayed in and didn't really do anything.  I spent some time rearranging appointments that we have back home.  Due to our appointment to get the rig worked on we won't be able to make some of them.  I moved them to later in the month of Sept.  I also finalized our travel home and started making campground reservations.  We are leaving the base on the day of the eclipse so I wanted to make sure there wouldn't be a problem with campgrounds.

On Tuesday though, we went to the kids house to babysit Rory while Aimee went to an appointment.  The car seat for our car came in on Monday so we installed it and took Rory to the park for an hour or so in the morning.  We brought Lola with us which is always fun.  Back at the house we played games and had lunch.  We always have a good time when babysitting.

Wednesday was a stay home day.  We did go to the commissary to get groceries and I did a couple of loads of laundry.  We met the people down the row who have a Vectra motorhome too.  We compared notes on how they are working.  Ours is a couple of years older than theirs.  We also spent some time looking at houses and condos online.  I have a list I am keeping to see how long they take to sell and what is available in our preferred neighborhoods.

I need to remember to take pictures we when go to the park and places like that to add to the blog.  So that is all for now.  Bye
