Wow, a whole week has passed and I didn't post. We didn't do much this week. We did go to an open house on Sunday (actually, both Sundays). We pretty much know the neighborhoods we want to keep an eye on. And then we took the kids out to dinner.
We took Rory to the Activity Park, which has a wet side and a dry side. The wet side has a bunch of water squirters and fountains that he likes to run through. The dry side has all the slides, swings and climbing things.
On Saturday we took Rory to see and ride on Thomas the Train. The local train museum/club put that on. He really had a good time. There were bounce houses, a hay maze, balloon animals and lots of other stuff. We had a really great time with him. Afterwards we went to the Game Stop restaurant and had lunch.
We spent as much time as we could with the family on Saturday and Sunday. The kids are flying out in Oct to see their friends and to help us determine what they want to have shipped back with our stuff. We talked about what to do with Lola and decided that it would be best if we brought her home with us, so she is now with us for the return trip. We will bring her back when we move back.
We got back to the rig last night and the refrigerator had taken a dump. The cooling unit went out and the fridge was shut off. We opened all the windows and vents and turned on fans to get the ammonia smell out. I ran to Walmart, Thank goodness it is open late, a bought two ice chests and some ice. We have an appointment at a dealer on Friday to get the rig worked on. Hopefully if we call them early tomorrow morning they can order the cooling unit and get the fridge working again.
So that was our exciting week. Hope you had a good one.
