Fort Bridger, WY

Fort Bridger, WY
Fort Bridger RV Camp

We had a shorter drive of 180 miles today so we didn't leave the campground until after 10:00 AM.  The day was nice, not too hot, not too cold and not windy.  We stopped in Rock Springs, WY to fuel up but couldn't find a rest area after that to stop at so we drove on in.

The city is having a Mountain Man Rendezvous this weekend and it was still going on when we entered the town.  The people were parked all over the road which made driving a little difficult.  Many of them were partway in the street.  It is a narrow road anyway so that made driving the rig a little scary.

One we got to the campground we saw they were having a BBQ for the holiday.  They told us to get setup and come back for a hamburger or hot dog.  They also had chips, watermelon and soda.  It was nice that I didn't have to fix lunch.  And we were still full at dinner so I didn't fix that either.  The campground is OK with the sites being on grass.  Our site was very level.

It was a quiet night and we head out again tomorrow but not too early as we have another short drive.

Bye
