Provo, UT
Lakeside RV
We had a really short drive today, about 140 miles. A lot of it was coming down in elevation so a lot of downhill driving. The traffic around Salt Lake City wasn't bad but it is certainly heavier than we have been experiencing.
We are stopped for the night at the Lakeside Campground in Provo, UT. It is about 2 miles off I-15. The park is nice but the sites are side-by-side which makes them a bit close on one side. With the way that our neighbor parked we may have to back out of our pull-through site. Once we were setup I called the last two campgrounds and made reservations. That should put us home on Friday afternoon.
There was a guy in the park who washes motorhomes and he agreed to wash ours in the early evening, when it cooled down. Now we hope it stays nice until we get home. He only charged $80 and we tipped him $20.
I fixed salmon for Bill and chicken for me for dinner. We are trying to eat up all the leftovers in the fridge so the side dishes were a bit strange.
Tomorrow is a long day for us - about 200 miles. We couldn't get satellite TV because of the trees in the park but they have cable and we were able to watch America's Got Talent before we went to bed. That is all for now.
