Today's drive was a bit longer than normal, 242 miles.  We first stopped at the gas station yt the campground and fueled up at a good price - $2.59 for diesel.  Then we got on the road.  We stopped at 2 different rest areas along the drive and made good time.  We arrived at Lakeside Campground in Effingham, IL around 2:30 PM.  It is funny, last time we were here we were parked on the left side of the building.  This time we are on the right.  At least we are near the laundry room. 

We decided to go out to dinner as there is a Cracker Barrel close by.  We haven't really stopped at one yet on this trip.  We had a good dinner then went across the street to Walmart to pick up some items.  I bought a couple more long sleeve sweaters and shirts.  It is getting cold now.  It gets into the low 30's at night and sometimes into the 20's.  Bill unhooks the water at night.  When we stopped at the gas station I noticed that one of my tires had a small bubble in it.  I was planning on getting tires when we got home but now I will get them tomorrow morning. 

We spent part of tonight updating our mailing address on stuff.  Boy is there a lot of places to update.  Some of them are going to require phone calls.  I will probably miss one or two.  I also need to arrange to have the internet and TV installed at the house.  The holiday next week is going to mess up my timing. 

So we are bedded down for the night.  We are staying an extra day to get caught up on laundry and things.  Bye
