Winter has absolutely arrived.  We are in the middle of a cold snap that will last about a week.  We are expecting night time temps to be at or below zero.  It did warm up enough last night to snow, meaning it got close to 30 degrees.  It looks lovely outside but I am not going out there to see it!  Our next gas bill will be interesting. 

We went to the movies the other day and saw Thor.  We chose the discount place up by the mall/  We now know why it is discounted!  They must not have paid their gas bill!  The theater was freezing.  We both wore our coats and gloves throughout the movie.  Some people even had blankets!  I don't know if they brought them in on purpose or just happened to have them in their cars.  The movie was fine but I thought I was going to have frostbite!  Since it was senior Thursday we only paid $1.75 each but we will have to think about ever going there again. 

I bought some photo frames that hold multiple pictures so I am going through mine to find ones I want to print.  The only problem is that my printer will not print on glossy photo paper.  Matte paper works fine but I like the glossy for framed pictures.  Guess I will have to get them printed by a photo service or go buy a new printer. 

We haven't found a favorite restaurant yet.  There are not a lot of Mom & Pop places around here.  We found a place by the base when we stayed there in August called the Fairborn Diner but there isn't any place like that around here.  Most everything is a chain restaurant and a lot of them are Bar and Grill or Sportsbar type places.  We will keep looking for our favorite place. 

We don't have any plans for New Years but we did realize that we can't go to bed early and celebrate on Eastern time as we are in Eastern time!  Maybe celebrate on London time?  Ha Ha!  We will probably not be awake at New Years.
