This has been a full week of putting furniture together. Bill is getting really good at it. Now I am just waiting for big stuff to show up. That would be the dining room table, buffet, bar stools and a dresser. Of course I didn’t pick out the dresser until Wed night but it should be here on Sat. We also looked up the local recycling place as we have a lot of boxes to recycle. Certainly more than our recycle can will hold.
We have also moved the rig off the base. We found a place to winterize it and do some repairs. Good thing on the timing as it is suppose to get colder next week. We have been having pretty nice weather with temps in the 60’s. This morning when we went out there was frost all over the grass! Next week, towards the middle of the week, it is suppose to get down into the 20’s. It might even snow next Friday.
We finally got DirecTV installed since we now have internet. It is so nice to have TV again. I also bought a bigger TV for the living room. It is a 55 inch UHD tv. We are catching up with Terry on the number of tv’s we have,
Today we took Rory to a performance of The Littleist Angel at the University of Dayton. It was a dance performance. He behaved really well. After the show some of the cast members showed the kids how to do some of the dance moves. Then they made halos and wings. The kids had a great time. We were with Rory so that Aimee could do some decorating for his birthday party tomorrow. He will be 5 on Monday. This is a party with a few of his friends. The family party is next weekend. We also have Lola for tonight and tomorrow to keep her from bothering the kids. She wandered the whole house when we brought her in tonight, Trying to figure out where she was.
We might actually get to sleep in tomorrow. I might even make pancakes in the morning so I guess I should go to bed now. Bye
