Adventures

It has been a busy week for us.  We have been doing things around the house and visiting new places for the last few days.

On Friday we headed into downtown Dayton to see the RV show at the Convention Center.  One thing we have to get used to here is no parking at the various sites.  You have to find private or public parking around where you want to go.  We originally planned on going on Thursday but it rained so we stayed home.  It was a little drizzly on Friday but not bad.  Because the show was inside they didn't have as many rigs as we are used to seeing.  We were mainly interested in the class C's and A's.  They didn't have any diesel pushers and only a couple of class A's and they were 35 ft and under.  We did find a couple of class C's we liked the layout of.  They were about 33 feet long.  I did like one of the A's at 35 ft.  We will have to find an outdoor show or go to a lot to find more.

On Saturday we ventured to a place called Traders World.  It is an indoor swap meet.  We were a bit disappointed in it.  We had the Orange County Swap Meet in our minds and it was a lot less than that.   It was a lot of the same stuff and junky stuff.  Don't know if we will go back or not.

On Sunday we drove into Cincinnati to take Rory to see Paw Patrol Live!  It was cute.  Too bad we got there a little late as my GPS took us to the wrong place.  They only had one Aronoff Center listed and it was at the University, which wasn't the one we wanted to go to.  We got to the correct place just as the show was starting.  Bill dropped Rory and I off to go in and he went and found a place to park and came in later.  Oh well.  We had fun anyway.  There were a lot of kids there!  Rory enjoyed it and got involved when they asked the audience to yell or point things out.  Now we know where the place is and won't have trouble finding it next time.  Bill and I would go here for a play or concert.

We got back to the kids house and ordered BBQ for dinner.  It was from City BBQ in downtown Centerville.  I thought it was very good.

So those were our last few days.  Hope you had a good time.
