A couple of fun things

So the weather cleared up and kids went for their birthday dinner on Saturday.  We kept the little ones over night.  Everything worked out just fine.  We let Rory stay up a little later than he usually does but not too late.  We took him out for breakfast on Sunday morning and he had pancakes at Beb Evans.  It was shaped like a little pig face and he liked them.

The weather has been warming up.  We had a nice rain the other day and now all of our snow is gone.  It is suppose to be in the 50's for the next few days before snowing again.

We went to a unique grocery store the other day.  It is called Jungle Jim's.  They have a lot of unique things and it is a big building.

We spent a couple of hours wandering around and picked up a couple of things.  It is about 30 miles from us so we will probably return once a month or so.  Makes a nice drive.

Our title for our RV has finally shown up.  It is at the BMV waiting for us to get the rig there and have it certified.  Odd thing is that the title was from South Dakota not California.  I know we filled out the paperwork to have it transferred to CA when we moved back.  I guess the DMV never went through the process to get it changed.  Anyway, we will soon have an Ohio title so that will make the bank and the state happy.  We have been waiting for the weather to cooperate before we take the rig in.  We are not in a big hurry as the registration is current and the state said we didn't really have a time limit.

We are taking Rory into Cincinnati this Sunday to see the Paw Patrol Live show.  I hope he likes it.  He does like the TV show so he should like this.  It will give Nick and Aimee most of the day to themselves.

The kids had a mouse in their wall the other day.  They said it woke them up and kept them awake all night and that it sounded like a big animal was stuck in their wall.  After 2 nights of this Nick had enough and cut into the wall to see what he could see.  Turns out it was a little mouse that he caught and disposed of.  Now he has to patch the wall but at least they can get a good nights  sleep.  He told us the hilarious story of catching the thing as it got loose and ran all around the bedroom.  Now I know who to call if I get one in my house.

So that is all for now.  Have fun.
