Changes

We thought spring was coming but winter has hit again.  It was 60 degrees on Monday and my flowers were starting to bloom -

They are a pretty stripped purple.  I was looking forward to them opening up soon.  So on Tuesday it started cooling off again and we received a winter storm warning for overnight.  On Wednesday morning we woke up to this where my flowers are -

I guess it will be a few more days before those flowers bloom again.  The weatherman says we can expect between 3-4 inches with a possibility of more over the weekend. 

Aimee has gotten a job working at home for the family of friends in Calif.  Since her first day was Monday I picked Rory up at school and brought him to our house for a few hours.  We played a bit.  While I was picking Rory up the plumber came to install the dishwasher.  Rory liked the big box the dishwasher came out so he played with that for a bit.  I now have all my new appliances installed and I think it looks good.  Painting starts on 4/02.  I got a call on Tuesday from the cabinet people and they are coming on Thursday to measure the counter tops and get the manufacturing of them.  Hope fully they will be installed in about a month along with the back splash and floor. 

Bill also installed the new cabinet knobs, just to see how they looked.  Originally they were gold, now they are silver.  I think they look good and when the cabinets get painted they will look really good.
