Did we commit a felony today? We took Rory to the Aquarium, which is in Newport, Kentucky. So we crossed state lines with a minor. Is that against the law? We did have his mothers permission, in fact, she was thrilled to have a good portion of the day to herself! It has been a couple of years since we have taken him here. He was anxious to see the sharks and octopuses. We did discover that there seem to be a lot of preschools there on Fridays so we will pick a different day the next time we go. We had lunch in the cafe there and we were pleasantly surprised by the pizza they had. It was good! Not great but a lot better than I expected.
On the drive home we ran into some traffic, an accident, and Rory fell asleep in the back. That is unusual. He got about 30 minutes of sleep before we got back to their house.
On Saturday we are suppose to get some snow and rain. Hope it is not too much.
