New appliances

My refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave came in today.  I really like the way they look, or at least 2 of the 3.  The delivery guys told us they could not install the dishwasher as we have copper pipes and they are not certified to work on them.  They are going to refund me the delivery and install charge and I will have to call a plumber.  I did that right after they left and the dishwasher will be installed on Monday.  It is currently sitting, boxed up, in the corner of the living room.  On Friday afternoon our stove will come.  Here are some pictures of the kitchen before and after the microwave and refrigerator were installed. 

We also had a guy from a paver/patio company come and look at the backyard.  He had a couple of ideas and I asked him for 2 estimates.  One for the smaller job and one for the bigger one.  The numbers he tossed off the top of his head seemed a little high according to what we paid to have the backyard done in Yorba Linda.  I guess we will just wait until the written estimate comes in.  Oh, he also said they couldn't get to it until June.   I still want to have a second quote so we will see what happens.  We were thinking about using pavers for the patio but we might think about concrete if it is cheaper.

So that took up a few hours of our time yesterday.  More today.
