We were going along with spring starting to happen when the weather turned strange. The weatherperson is saying we are about 10 degrees below average. Yesterday the day started out nice, a little cool but nice, so we went Menard's. While we were in there it started to snow. We had a snow squall. Almost white out conditions. We stayed in there shopping until it let up. Then, just as fast as it started it stopped. Weird. We were there to buy new knobs for my kitchen cabinets. The current ones are gold and I want silver to go on the doors once they get painted. The painting starts on April 2nd.
I got a call from Costco and my new stove will be delivered on Friday. Since my new refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave are coming on Thursday that is good. Can't wait to cook on my new appliances.
We had a color consultant come out and help me choose the right shades of grey for the living room, kitchen, hallway and entrance. I also picked paint for the master bedroom, the master bath, the guest room, the office and the guest bath. The kitchen cabinets are going to be dark grey on the bottoms and white on the uppers. I hope it looks good. I will be taking pictures during the process.
We picked the counter tops, back splash and floors for the kitchen and that work should start soon. I don't expect that to finish until May some time. Can't wait.
We have someone coming over to give a quote on a small patio this week. We also will be visiting a Springboro event that showcases local businesses and will see if I can get another quote from one of them soon. We want a small patio to have somewhere to sit and enjoy the spring and summer weather. Nothing fancy, just pavers.
The time change has messed me up. It is dark now when I get up and I don't like that at all. Makes it harder to get out of bed in the morning. I hope I adjust soon.
We have also been looking at lawn mowers, trimmers, etc for the lawn and garden. I want to start a small container garden this year. We will see how that goes.
That is all for now. More later.
