Still here

We didn't get to go on our campout this month.  The campground is located on the Ohio River and due to rains from Hurricane Harvey the Ohio was rising.  The campground cancelled the campout when the water rose and caused them to have to move their seasonal people from the riverfront sites to the upper sites.  That left nothing for us.  Oh well, we will try again in Oct.

We are getting ready to drive to Pennsylvania at the end of the month.  We will attend a school thing for Bill and have lunch with a bunch of cousins.  I have done some updates to my family history in anticipation of that.

The kids in North Carolina just went through hurricane Florence.  Everyone is safe and sound.  They all have a little damage like trees and fences down but everyone is fine.  Thank goodness.

We went to lunch with one of our neighbors the other day.  We are slowly getting to know some neighbors.

I have spent a long time working on financial things.  It has been soooo fun.  We are making changes to our trust since there have been many changes to the inheritance laws from when we first set it up. There are also some changes between California and Ohio laws.  Also we want to be fair to all the kids.  Some of the things the lawyer has asked about are things we haven't thought of in a long time so we have been uncovering paperwork an getting stuff updated.

Fall isn't quite here yet but there are a few trees changing colors here and there.  Nothing in our yard yet.  The local places are selling mums and pumpkins so it won't be long.

That is all for now.  We are doing fine.  Hope you are too.
