This morning we have to pick up the Chevy from the shop. Always something exciting going on.

Yesterday I got an email from a candy shop in Pottsville, PA saying my order had shipped. I looked at it and it was an order I placed in 2018 that I got back then!  Bill’a favorite candy is from there. I told Bill about it and he said it was funny as he had just been thinking about that candy a couple of days ago. I guess I will have to contact them to see if they are open.

When I made chicken noodle soup the other day, I made a big batch. We are having the last of it today for dinner. We will also have turkey sliders ( I always make a double batch of them).  I sat down and made up a menu for the next week. Let’s see if I actually follow it. I did have to add some items to my shopping list for a couple of the dishes. I am trying not to buy too much stuff and then let it spoil. Fresh stuff requires so much planning.

We had to go out to pick up the Chevy from the repair shop. Since we were out anyway we took the Clorox wipes to the kids. They are only 7 ,lies up the road. It is nice to see some of the spring flowers by the roads.

We watched some tv for the evening. I think we have reached the end of the internet. We didn’t find much that interested us. I am glad I like to read, it give me something else to do.  I also made some banana bread to enjoy for the next few days.
