Happy April Fools Day!😳

I had a possible line on disinfectant wipes but the store didn’t receive any in their shipment. I called before we headed out. As a person with a compromised immune system I think long and hard before going out. I am trying to hold it to twice a week. Once for groceries and once for takeout. My arthritis and kidney issues put me at a very high risk.

It was good to see the kids when We dropped off their stuff yesterday after shopping. Back in January I had bought a bey blade (a toy thing) for Rory and it didn’t get delivered until the later part of March. Since it came from China I sprayed it with disinfectant and let it sit for a number of days before delivering it. I also got him a chocolate bunny since we probably won’t see them for Easter.  Maybe we can plan a big 4th of July party together. I don’t expect to be going to any gatherings until then.

Aimee's parents have been renting a house and decided to buy one this year. I hear they found a place they like and their offer was accepted.  Maybe we can have that 4th of July party there. Good for them. Her grandparents were recently moved to a care facility. Her grandmother has dementia, and has for a couple of years, and her grandfather’s health has been declining. She seems to like the place but her grandfather isn’t too happy there but it is the best thing for the family. I know it bothers everyone that nobody can visit right now.

I am thinking. About ordering some puzzles so we have something to do.  I guess we also need to dig out our dominoes as well bi don’t think we can play pegs and jokers with only two people.

For dinner I made cube steak simmered in brown gravy.  Along with that we had mashed potatoes, corn and garlic knots. I haven’t made that in a long time and it was really good. I am trying to decide if we are having takeout tomorrow or if I am going to try to make split pea soup with cornbread.

Recorded tv shows are on the schedule for tonight. Of course one of those recorded will be the Masked Singer. We spent a few minutes on the patio but it was cold today, around 50 degrees. The rest of the week is suppose to be warmer.
