I decided to get up and fix scrambled eggs for breakfast. It is suppose to be warmer today so we plan on gardening. We had purchased a bag of grass seed (actually it is grass patch seed with top soil and food). We have a few spots I. The yard that that the grass needs filling in. We also dig up some tulips and things that grew the leaves but haven’t flowered I the last two years. I decided to try something else in those places. This year I just put some flowers that I got seeds for. We also had the big tree out front trimmed.  We paid someone to do that. I like it much better. It lightens up the front of the house and makes it easier to walk around out ther. It will also be easier on the lawn mowers.

Bill wanted BBQ ranch chicken salad for dinner tonight. The restaurant I was going to order from isn’t doing takeout anymore so I ordered from. BJ’s again. I had a crispy chicken salad. It was good.

We called the morning gardening our morning exercise but we did go for our evening walk. Weather around here is weird. The warmest part of the day is in the late afternoon instead of around 2:00 like in California. We are still adapting to that

I decided to make cupcakes this morning. We bought a cake mix when we were grocery shopping.  Ma cake would have been too much but cupcakes were something I could freeze part of. So I frosted some and froze some un-frosted. We can pull them out at a later time and frost them.

Tomorrow it is suppose to rain most of the day so that should help the seeds we spread today. Hopefully we will have grass and flowers in the next week.
