A list of things to do today. Since the wait at the hair salon was long we first went to the BMV to get my car registered. Big mistake. The line wasn’t long but they gave me a hassle about the plates and the registration. My car is registered under the trust name but I have handicapped plates. They say you can’t have that combo. So I had to give up my plates or re-title the car in just my name. So how did I get that combo in the first place? So now I only have the dumb placard. I hate having to remember to take it with me. Oh, and since I had to change plates it cost me more money. Ripoff.
On our way home I was able to sign in and got my hair cut. Bill did a pretty good job when he cut it but it needed to be evened out. There were some short spots and some really long spots. The rest of the day was spent at home. I had put some beef in the crockpot and made stroganoff. It was really yummy. I will have to keep that in the rotation.

After our morning walk we took a drive to Jungle Jim’s. They didn’t have what I went there for but I got some fruit and veggies. We also stopped at a boat repair place to find out about getting our boat de-winterized. The place we had been using has gone out of business. We will take the boat in later this week and it should be a week or so before we get it back.
I talked to Terry today. He is doing as well as can be expected. I will be calling him once a week for a bit to check on him. He will have a lot of things to do the first few weeks but eventually he will not.
Dinner was baked pork chops with mashed potatoes, gravy and fresh tomatoes.
It has warmed up but is still windy. Almost like the Santa Ana winds but not as hot. We did get our evening walk in.

So we got our morning walk in then went out to work in the garden. I used the hoe to remove the small weeks. Bill dug out a bush stump and then we cut back some plants. Let’s see if they have a second growth.
The rest of the day was quiet. In the evening we went for our walk and thunder started. We finished our walk and the rain didn’t start until a bit later.
I fixed meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, and corn on the cob for dinner.
