Catching up

Yeah, I haven’t posted in about a month. It he ninth of December was busy and I had a few days of not feeling well. I have an arthritis flare and then kidney stones. First time I have had those and let me tell you they hurt.  But I am better now. I am seeing a new rheumatologist since my old one moved out of town. He did a lot of new tests and we are changing my medicine once more. Now I am going to have to go to the doctors office and have an infusion done every eight weeks. But first I have two infusions four weeks apart. I hope these help.

I decided to trade in my Ford C-Max and got a Toyota Avalon. I was also looking at a Lexus but Toyota gave me a deal I couldn’t refuse. It is white. Here is a picture of it. I know it is not great but it is raining and I didn’t want to stand in the rain and take the picture.

I wanted to get a regular car instead of an SUV.  I am leasing it so if I don’t like it I can change in 3 years.

We are still not doing much, the same as most of the nation.  Bill is eligible for the COVID shot this week and I was able to get him an appointment.  I am not eligible for two more weeks. I hope I can get mine easily.  I was surprised that my medical issues do not qualify me for an early appointment so I have to wait for the over 65 group.

The kids are doing fine. They hope to be able to buy a house later this year. They are saving up for it. The biggest problem is that homes in their price range are selling really quickly, almost before they even get posted online.

So I won’t be posting everyday but I will try to post at least once a week.

I had kidney stone before! Painful! It is caused by minerals in water so I use a water filter pitcher. My fridge also filters water. Homes sell fast here, too , even with covid and job loss. The one on corner by Randy sold in 2 days! Only 1200 sq ft on 1/2 acre like his! Listing was $529,000
