Bathroom remodel

They are starting my bathroom remodel today. Today is demo day. They said it will take 3-4 weeks to complete.  I am very excited. I really want it redone but I hate the time and work involved to get it done.  This means we have to use the guest bath in the meantime.  

We had some sad news recently.  Lola had cut her foot on some ice and the wound just was not healing.  The kids took her to the vet and they found a tumor.  It was biopsies and determined to be cancer.  It is a very aggressive type.  It was removed but started growing back within a week.  The vet is going to do more testing but it doesn’t look good.  One option is to amputate her leg, it is a back leg, but they are not sure if it has spread.  She is about 12 years old and we are not sure if that is good for her at this stage.  And it wouldn’t extend her life very much.  The kids are waiting to see what the further tests show before making a decision.  We have noticed she is breathing heavy a lot so it may have spread to her lungs.  We just don’t want her to suffer.  

The kids are starting the process of buying a house. They are going to get pre-approved before putting their house on the market.  Right now there are not a lot of houses available but that should change as spring proceeds.  They want to move to Springboro so they will be closer to us but not in our neighborhood.  

Things are opening up around here.  We were able to get season tickets to the local dinner theater. The first performance is next week.  They are still social distancing so we won’t have anyone at the table with us.   Can’t wait.  Aimee and I are taking Rory to the aquarium next week while he is on spring break.  Bill is staying home with the builders.
