Vaccine

On Friday, March 12th, I got my second vaccine shot.  I am getting the Moderna shot.  The process went well, even though we got ther about 15 minutes before my appt.  we were out of there by 3:45.  I felt fine so we stopped for dinner at a local place. It was just ok.  I felt fine the rest of the day but when I went to bed around 10:00 my arm was sore.  Not just tender but getting sore.  Overnight it became painful if I did anything with it, like flex a muscle.  About 5:00 am I started feeling bad.  I got up to go pee and got the shivers and felt sick to my stomach.  I did go beck to sleep for a bit but woke up again and thought I was going to be sick but just dry heaves.  I did have a slight temp of 100.1 degrees.  I went back to sleep and spent the rest of the morning sleeping on and off.  I got out of bed around noon but still felt miserable.  We had planned on going to lunch with the kids but that was put off.  I spent the rest of the day sleeping and. It doing anything.  I did keep drinking to keep myself hydrated.  By the evening I did feel better but my arm was still really sore.  Overnight I slept off and on.  In the morning I felt better but my arm still hurt.  I took a shower and felt human again.  I was able to eat today.  By the end of the day my arm was feeling good, just a little tender in the shot area.  So I wasn’t the medical marvel Bill was, he had no reaction, but I survived and feel fine.  I sort of knew I was going to have a reaction, I always do when I have a vaccine.

I do recommend that you get whichever vaccine you can and that you get it as soon as you can.  We are still social distancing, wearing masks and washing hands.  Hopefully the whole country will have their vaccines by the end of the year and we want be having these problems so do your part.
