Camping in Aberdeen, OH

We went out with our camping group this last week.  We went to Lively Lady Marina and Campground in Aberdeen, OH. It is just under 2 hours from the house. We have been here before. The group splits into two groups.  One down on the river, with no sewer, and one up on the hill, with full hookups.  We prefer the hookups.  It was a good weekend.  We are too much, had a band and danced, and just generally had a good time.

Bill and I did a little exploring in the area and found the boyhood home of US Grant.  He was born in Ohio and his family moved to this area. His father had a tannery there but Grant didn’t like that and liked to work with horses.

We had a good time and the weather was good.  I did get eaten alive by bugs.
