How did I miss May?

 I am trying to think what I was so busy doing that I missed posting in May.  We did go on our first camp out of the season.  We visited the Little Farm On The River in Rising Sun, IN.  It was about one hour from our house.  The weather was actually pretty nice, a bit on the warm side, which is unusual for May.  

We have been seeing a new financial planner and are working to move all of our accounts to them.  They are a full service company.  We will see how they are.  

I did finally finish closing my parent’s estate and distributing everything to the family members.  I hope everyone is happy with how things turned out.  I tried to advise them on how to handle their gifts but everyone is an adult so it will be up to them how they handle things.  Most of the personal items had been taken care of when the house sold.  I did get Mom and Grandma’s wedding rings.  I will have them fitted to a couple of my fingers so I can wear them.  

We had our standard doctor appointments to take care of.  Getting old means more appointments.  

We aren’t joining the camping group in June but we are planning on taking Rory out for a short camp out. I found a campground that has an aquatic center, mini golf, go carts, and other things.  I think he will have a good time.  I’ll post more about that later.  

We are planning on selling the boat so we are having some work done on it.  It will be listed soon and hopefully it will sell quickly.  

So May was a busy month and so will June but I will try to remember to post during it.
