Wow, it got hot and muggy fast. We had a large number of days in the 90’s with a lot of humidity. Thunderstorms almost every week. We did have one bad enough that it took out the electricity for 13 hours. We threw away most of the dairy stuff. The freezer kept everything frozen so we got lucky there.
We took Rory and one of his friends to a local mini golf park. They played video games and ran around and had a great time. The mini golf was busy but the boys had fun. Aimee enjoyed a couple of hours by herself. We also took Rory to see the movie Bad Guys. It was cute. We had to change the dates of our camp out due to weather and are leaving on the 28th for that.
I turned another year older. Bill will took in a couple of weeks. We don’t like this getting older stuff.
We got the boat back from service. They had to do a few things to it including a new battery. Not bad considering it has been two years since we took it out. I put it on Facebook Marketplace in the morning and it was sold and gone by 7:00 pm. I had all kinds of interest. We sold it to a guy who was looking for a boat to take his family out in. He has a bass boat but the wife and kids don’t like going out on it. I guess we priced it right. At least that is taken care of.
Bill and I went to the local dinner theater to see Beauty and the Beast. It was a good presentation. We like their food too.
I developed a summer cold. No, I don’t have Covid. I tested myself. Just plugged up sinuses. I hope it goes away soon.
I hope the weather doesn’t get too bad this summer.
