No break in the weather yet. We put the awnings out this morning to help keep it cool inside. That way the air conditioner doesn't have to work as hard, or the refrigerator. I have had the thermostat set at 78 since we got here and it runs non-stop during the day.
Since our friends are suppose to show up today I decided to get what laundry we had done. That way I wouldn't have to worry about it over the weekend. The laundry room here is very nice and reasonably priced. The washers and dryers work well so one run of each cleans and drys them. A lot of time you have to add money to dryers, but not here. Laundry done we settled into our cool rig to wait for our friends.
It was in the middle afternoon before everyone showed up. We are not all parked together as one couple only has 30 amp and another wanted to be in the trees.
The travelers were a bit on the wilted side and were happy to get plugged in to run their airs. We gathered in the shade to discuss what we would be doing the next few days. We decided not to see any shows until the weekend. Tonight we pulled together a group dinner of a couple a steaks, some ribs and a bunch of sides. It was a good meal and filling, nut we still had room to head into town and get some frozen custard. That was nice and cool. We spent the evening just gossipping.
