Wow...

I can't believe that it has been over a month since I last posted.  Time sure flies.

We are getting ready to take off and travel for the summer.  We have a week left before launch day.  On Monday, May 14th we will head out again.  Hitch-itch is setting in.  We still have a few things left to do or buy but we are basically ready.

We left Mountain Shadows on Thursday to head to San Diego for the Camping Squares campout.  We like the Chula Vista Marina and RV Resort.  It is one of the more upscale parks we camp at.

My son and daughter-in-law are pregnant!  She is past the 12 week mark so our fingers are crossed that everything turns out fine.  She will be such a great mother.

I am a little sad about leaving as we will miss our family and friends when we are on the road.  But, we are headed to North Carolina where we will see the other half of our family!  We are so looking forward to that.  I have also completed the travel arrangements for Nick & Aimee to fly there for Tyler's graduation.

All the maintenance is done on the car and the RV so everything should be in tip-top condition and ready to roll.

I am still getting used to things in this RV.  I have used the dishwasher a couple of times as well as the washer/dryer.  They both work well so I will continue to use them.  I will have to do laundry about every other day to keep up.  I will probably still use the laundry mat to wash the big items like sheets.

This morning, here at the campout, the men are fixing breakfast for the ladies in honor of Mother's Day.  Bill is scrambling 3 dozen eggs.  He is actually a pretty good cook.  I know we will have the eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fruit, rolls, juice and probably other things.  Yummy, Yummy.

The family is all getting together for Mother's Day but we are celebrating on Saturday instead of Sunday.  That way the individual families can do their on thing on the actual holiday.

That is all for now.  Have a good day
