I have been really bad about taking pictures of the last few campgrounds we have been in. I missed the Ben Franklin Campground in York, PA, and Fox Den Acres, New Stanton, PA. They were both fine campgrounds. For visiting York, Ben Franklin was fine. If I had kids it probably wouldn't have been good as there really wasn't anything for kids to do there. Fox Den Acres had a lot of activities for families and would be fine for another stay, even if it was a bit expensive. We are now on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton Ohio. We were here last year over Labor Day. Between Fox Den Acres and here we stayed at Spring Valley Campground in Cambridge, OH. We stayed there last year but I did take some pictures. I think we were in the exact same site this time!
The drives on these days were uneventful.
Thursday night we were sitting outside, the heat finally broke, and our next door neighbors came over. They have just started fulltiming and were headed to South Dakota to register. We gave them some pointers and also a list of places to visit in that area.
Friday we went grocery shopping to fill the freezer. I also did a couple of loads at the base laundry. It is easier to do the sheets in the large washer and dryer. It was cheap, too, only $1 to wash and fifty cents to dry.
We are preparing to meet our friends, Terry & Lydia, on Tuesday. We will be traveling with them for about 6 weeks. This will be fun.
My Dad's birthday was on Wednesday. I called and talked to him and Mom for a bit. I can't wait to see them in Nov. Have a good day.
