Monday we really didn't do much but hang around the campground. We are toured out in this area. We head south on Tuesday so we spent the day getting ready. Cleaning, packing, etc.
Tuesday morning we planned on leaving between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM. I think we were ready before 8:30 AM so pulled out as soon as we got organized. The drive down was easy, just long, 247 miles. Terry's slide problems seem to be fixed, yeah! We stopped at a rest area, really a welcome center, to have lunch. We are now parked at the Alice Springs Campground in Ionia, MI. We are using this as a base to tour Grand Rapids. The campground is really nice. They plan on expanding it over the years. They currently have phase 1 completed. We did make use of the hot tub. It could have been hotter, it was more like a warm tub, but it is the first we have been able to use in awhile.
Tomorrow we head into Grand Rapids to visit the Gerald Ford Presidential Museum. We have a full day planned so I am now off to bed. That is all for now.
