This is our last weekend with the family. We didn't get to see them on Saturday because they had a previously scheduled event to attend. We did see Stormy and Bryant on Friday night down at the beach for a bit. Bill and I went to the movies on Saturday and saw Trouble With The Curve. It was a pretty good movie but Clint Eastwood sure is getting old. His gravely voice is getting hard to understand. Guess we are all getting old.
Sunday we saw the family at Stormy's house in the afternoon. Bryant smoked some turkey breasts and some shrimp. It sure was good. We don't know yet if we will be returning to NC next year, we haven't made any plans yet. We will just have to wait and see.
Bill enjoyed playing with Nelson. Here are a couple of pictures -
Nelson is crawling around and stands up with the support of things. He will walk as long as he is holding on to something. It won't be long before he takes off and walks all over the place.
We will miss the East Coast portion of our family but it is time to head West. We have to be in Calif by the end of Oct to babysit Aimee. I have a feeling she isn't going to make it to Thanksgiving before Rory is born so we want to be near when it happens.
