The Holidays are over

Thursday, Dec 27, 2012

The last week or so has passed so fast.  We went into Orange County a number of times for appointments and to see the family and friends.  That was a lot of driving.  I got my final Christmas shopping done either by braving the stores or over the internet.  I like computer shopping.  I think everyone enjoyed what I got them.

I went to my folks house to make cookies.  It would take me forever to bake them at the rig as I can't use large cookie sheets.  While doing that I tried out the silicone baking sheets I got.  They worked really well.  I am thinking about going to Bed Bath and Beyond to get another small one.  I gave the 2 big ones to Aimee to keep.  I hope she finds them useful.

The family came to the folks house on Sunday for a family gathering.  That way the individual families can celebrate Christmas at home.  Here are a few pics that I took.  I was busy cooking so didn't get a lot taken.

Bill and I drove down to the house to spend Christmas with Nick, Aimee and Rory.  We had a very nice day together.

Before Christmas we went to the Rustler's dance and enjoyed seeing our friends.  We finally got Terry to admit that I was right on which RV he bought.  We plan on seeing it soon.  The Mother of one of our friends passed away last week.  The services will be held on Friday, this week, and we intend to attend.  She was 90 years old and had a heart attack after falling and breaking her hip.

Bill and I are trying to decide where we will stay next year.  If we are going to drive into OC all the time to see the kids we might want to stay there instead of Hemet.  I am also looking into different sites here in the park as we might also move into a larger site if we stay in Hemet.  Decisions, decisions.

New Years Eve is coming up but we don't intend to do anything special this year, just stay home.  I don't like to drive on New Years so we won't be going out.

We plan on seeing the new movie Parental Guidance today.  We always go to the movies on Thursday as it is senior day and it is only $5 a person.  The movie should be good.

That is all for now.  Bye
