June 19 - 20, 2013, Wednesday - Thursday
The only thing we did on Wednesday was to take our car into the Sears Auto Center. They couldn't find any problem with my belts and can't tell me why it makes that squealing noise. We are going to have to wait until I can leave it someplace overnight so they can actually hear the noise. After that we went to Walmart to pick up a couple of groceries. I also went to the laundry room to wash the sheets. They don't go in my little washer very well.
Thursday was my birthday. It is the 30th anniversary of my 29th birthday. We didn't do anything in the morning but in the afternoon we went to the local mall and walked around. I tried to spend money but didn't see anything I liked.
Next we went to dinner at the Olive Garden. I have always liked them even though I know they aren't the best Italian place around. I had a new dish, the Parmesan crusted chicken served with a garlic cream sauce and linguine. I tried their low fat salad dressing and it was good. I think I like it better than their regular one.
After dinner we drove downtown to see the Farmer's Market. The season is just getting started so it wasn't as full as it normally is, I was told. It runs about 6 blocks along Main Street. There are crafts, local groups and farmers there. Here are a couple pictures. They have a lot of statues and a water feature the kids were enjoying as it was hot.
Oh, my car decided not to act up today and it didn't make that awful noise. Hopefully it will continue to behave but I am not holding my breath.
I don't remember if I said before but we have been at Junction West RV Park in Grand Junction, CO. It is a nice place. It is a Passport America park but they do not accept it during the high season. We have a nice big site.
We made a change in our plans and we are skipping our next scheduled spot and going into Rawlins, WY. That means a longer day of driving, about 270 miles, so we will be going to bed earlier tonight, I need to put things away in preparation of that. I hope you have a good rest of your day.
