Looking for things

Today will be a day to explore and find some things.  Our first stop was at Mr Diesel and Auto Repair.  I picked this car repair place based on reviews I found on the internet.  The guy we talked to seemed to know what he was talking about.  I showed him the video I took of the engine while it was squealing and he thinks it is a pulley and bearing.  Of course this is a special order part so they can't do anything until next week.  We asked him to go ahead and order the part.  When it comes in he will give us a call and we will drop off the car.  That way they can start it up when it is cold. 

After that we went to Home Depot hoping they would have the little lever part that opens up the overhead cabinets.  One of them broke.  They didn't have one but the guy there told us where there were two RV dealers.  The first one had their parts department in a different location than the sales area.  The second one, a few miles up the road, was closed for the entire 4th weekend,  We went back to the parts department of the first place and they did have the part we needed. 

It was now about 1:00 so we stopped at a place called the Village Inn for lunch.  We both had the soup and sandwich lunch.  It was OK.  The waitress gave us the senior discount without our asking.  We may go back one day as they have free pie on Wednesdays.  Ha Ha

It rained for awhile in the afternoon so that kept us in for the rest of the afternoon.  I need to get out and take pictures of the campground and a few of the base.  There are some historic buildings here.  We might go to the base museum tomorrow.
