Cody, WY

Aug 11, 2013 Sunday

Today we moved from Thermopolis to Cody, a drive of about 85 miles.  Because it was going to be such a short drive we decided to go out to breakfast first.  We were joking that it would probably be 11:00 by the time we got back because every restaurant we have gone into lately has been slow.  We picked a place called the Black Bear Café based on reviews I saw online.  The service turned out to be pretty quick, except that they had trouble getting my eggs cooked right.  I ordered my eggs over hard and they came out over easy.  I sent them back and then they came over medium.  The waitress said, " you should order them over hard if you don't want the yolks runny".  Duh?!? Wasn't that what I ordered?  They finally got them right and the meal was good.  Since I got biscuits and gravy I could eat those while waiting for my food.  We both had sausage patties and they were huge!  I brought one home with me.

We got to Cody and did some laundry.  I know, exciting.  After that we drove into town to check things out.  Then back to the rig.  I heated up the leftover beef barley soup for dinner and made sandwiches to go along with it.

We enjoyed some time outside as it was a pleasant evening.  That was our exciting day.
