Today was our planned trip to Marathon. For those who don't know, Marathon is a custom coach builder of motorhomes. They make a lot of the ones that stars drive around in and that really rich people drive. The rigs cost well over $1 million dollars each. You get a custom coach in which you can pick all the wall coverings, the floors, the paint colors, etc. They didn't let us take pictures during the tour but it was interesting.
This place sits right alongside I-5 in Coburg, OR. We have passed it many times and always planned on stopping but never did. Monaco, the company that made our last coach, was also in this area.
After the tour we headed over to Costco to pick up a couple of items but the lines were way too long so we decided to go to Walmart instead. We got lucky and they were giving flu shots so we got that taken care of. I picked up the stuff we needed then we headed home.
It has been raining off and on all day today. I thought this was ending! Tomorrow we head into Northern California and hopefully away from the rain.
That is all for now. Have a good day.
