Well we left Nashville this morning. We had to make a quick stop at the dump station on our way out of the park first. Just after we finished a trailer pulled up and said they wanted to watch how we dumped since he had never done it before! I told them Bill would help if they wanted. Our camp neighbors were there dumping a blue tote and they helped the newbies out.
The drive was short today but we did lose an hour when we entered the Eastern Time zone so we got into camp around 1:00 instead of noon. We are at Soaring Eagle Campground in Lenoir City, TN. It is just off the interstate. The sites are a bit narrow (we can practically pass items through the windows to our neighbors) and the price is a bit high but it is convenient to the highway. There is pool but we didn't use it.
We took a stroll through the park and saw this RV. It is one of the million dollar ones you hear about. We certainly couldn't afford it.
We ate in since we didn't want to unhook the car. I made fried rice with chicken and shrimp. I put a bunch of veggies in, too. I used onion, peas, carrots, squash and peppers. I used a combo of white and brown rice. It was good and we have some for leftovers. Yummy
So that is all for today. Tomorrow we head into North Carolina.
