Week 2 at Cherry Point

Saturday - Sunday Aug - 17, 2014 So what did we do this week? We had the rig out a couple of times to get some things looked at. They have been taken care of so we are now ready to leave at the end of the month. We have done normal, everyday things, like laundry and grocery shopping too. I did get my blood work done for Dr Dore. We found a pack n play for Rory to use at a consignment shop, so that is ready for them. We have been to a couple of movies. We saw Guardians of the Galaxy, which we didn't like, and Expendables 3, which we did. We have been over to the kids house a few times and enjoyed visiting. We visited the farmers market in New Bern but it was more crafts than farmers. I got some Georgia peaches. We have taken a few drives around. The weather was decent, at least we weren't getting rain! I haven't taken any pictures but that will change when we all get together this coming weekend. I have spent some time working on our trip back west and think I have it done. Some will depend on how much time we spend at Winnebago but we plan on making the November campout with the Camping Squares. We did try the Chinese restaurant on base, Rice Bowl, and didn't like it. We also went to a local Mexican place, El Cerro, and wasn't thrilled with that either. We need to head down to Morehead to the seafood restaurants. So that is all for now. Have a good day.
