Catching up

Friday - Monday, Sept 5 - 8


We didn't do much the last couple of days at Virginia Beach.  Just boring stuff like laundry and grocery shopping.  We did have a bit more rain which makes going out difficult. 


On Sunday we pulled out of the campground and headed north toward Baltimore.  We are now parked on Fort Meade, just south of the city.  If my nephew, Brian, is available we will see him and his family.  We are also discussing heading down to DC to do a bit of site seeing.  That will depend on the weather.  We are still in the rain zone so that lets out outdoor activities. 


Camp Meade, the campground on Fort Meade, is nice but it looks like they are trying to save money.  The lawn need mowing, the cable doesn't work and the wifi is broken.  Good thing we carry our own wifi and satellite dish.  It wouldn't be so bad but this is one of the more expensive military campgrounds with daily rates at $33.  But that is cheap compared to the surrounding area.
