Friday morning we got up and headed over to the truck repair place. We arrived earlier than our appt so that the engine could cool down for them to work on it. The part was already there so they were able to start work earlier. We went out to lunch and they were finished by the time we got back.
We decided to stop at Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch. We have never stopped at one before. We knew it was a spots bar type place. I was impressed with the food. I don't know if I would go there for dinner but lunch was fine.
We headed back to Clear Lake State Park for the night. Once we were set up we headed for the laundromat. I definitely needed to get some wash done.
The cold continues. Can't wait to head south.
Saturday morning we were up and ready to go by 9:30 am even though we only have about 160 miles to go. We stopped for the night in Osceola, IA at the Lakeside Casino. They have an RV park. It was $30 a night and you have to go to the casino to pay. We wandered around a bit and found the casino to be fine. We didn't play anything. Their buffet looked good, tonight's special was surf and turf buffet for $16.99. Not bad. I assume the surf was lobster but we didn't eat there.
The park is over priced for what it is but it is an easy off and on the highway. The sites are narrow and some are in bad shape. We would stop again for overnight but not for multiple days. There is a Pilot just outside the parking lot
