We were able to sleep in on Wed morning so you know that means we woke up early. We had a continental breakfast at the hotel before heading over to Winnebago. The room was fine, clean and warm. Our rig was finished around 1:00 and we headed out to fill the propane, fuel and dump the tanks. We are staying in the rally grounds today so we can take off in the morning. One thing about staying here is that it costs more as we are eating out more. The heater seems to be working fine. We will see in the morning. You know it won't rain now for a long time so we can't test the leak. The big slide seems fine.
Thursday morning we woke up around 6:30. Good thing we did as I didn't think the heater was working right. We threw in clothes and headed down to the customer service area. Also the door wouldn't shut. It was freezing outside. My car windshield was covered in ice. We had to scrape it with a credit card! They said someone would be right out for the heater. Our problem is that the heat pump is not running along with the propane heater. It started and then kicks off. He says it it because it is so cold outside that it can't run so it shuts off. We will have to test that in the morning. They took it in to work in the door and we got it back around lunch. We are staying in the rally grounds again. Tonight we are the only ones here. In fact many if the others have left too.
We plan on taking the rig over to a Cummins place in the morning. Then we will spend the night back at Clear Lake then take off in Sat. Keep your fingers crossed.
